What is the best time for offroad tours in Kyrgyzstan?
The ideal season for 4x4 mountain expeditions is from June to September. During these months, high-altitude passes like Tosor or Mels (3,000m+) are open, and the weather is perfect for yurt stays at Son-Kul and trekking to Kel-Suu and Ala-Kul lake.
Why is a 4x4 vehicle mandatory for Kel-Suu and Son-Kul?
Reaching remote alpine lakes involves navigating rugged terrain, river crossings, and unpaved mountain roads. We use specially equipped Toyota Sequoia and Land Cruiser fleets to ensure maximum safety and comfort in the wild Tian Shan landscapes.

What kind of food is served during the offroad expedition?
We provide a mix of traditional nomadic cuisine (like Beshbarmak and Plov) and European-style meals. We easily accommodate vegetarian, vegan diets. Also all food in Kyrgyzstan isHalal. Is there mobile internet or WiFi in the remote mountains?
While major cities like Bishkek have high-speed 4G, remote areas like Kel-Suu or Son-Kul have limited or no cellular coverage, but we provide Starlink satellite internet to our guests. We also provide local SIM cards for basic communication, and our guides use satellite devices for safety. We recommend downloading offline maps before heading into the wild.
